Bahrain International Cargo Services was established in 1967 as a wholly owned company of the Yusuf Bin Ahmed Kanoo group of companies to provide cargo, clearing and logistics Services.

Establishing BICS was essential to provide this service to the Gulf region which was starting new a age of development.
